Versado Centenary Vines Malbec 2020

This is a certified organic Malbec that is hand harvested from 100-year-old vines in the Lujan de Cuyo region of Mendoza. After a practically perfect growing season, the wine underwent wild yeast fermentation and an 18-month aging period in French oak. The wine sings an authentic rendition of place. Blackberries, black olive and molasses on the nose melt into a full-bodied, silky palate that begins softly and gradually builds layers of ripe, dark fruit and tobacco notes that persist on a long, flavourful finish. 94 points
