Versado Malbec 2024

This Malbec, crafted by the Canadian winemaking duo Ann Sperling and Peter Gamble, is grown at high altitudes within the Lujan de Cuyo region of Mendoza. The nose is quite complex, offering mouthwatering plum and chocolate aromas coupled with earthy and savoury notes. Smooth, velvet textured tannins carry waves of wildberries and juicy, vibrant fruit on a medium-bodied palate with good length. Grilled portobello mushrooms or sliders would be the perfect accompaniment for this Malbec. Drink now or hold until 2031. 92 points
