This vegan-friendly red wine consists of 72% Cabernet Franc and 28% Cabernet Sauvignon from the warmest of Niagara’s sub-appellations, St. David’s Bench. Vivacious aromas present a whirlwind of blackberries, ripe fig, freesia, cedar and earth that exude from the glass. A 7-month aging period in a combination of French and American oak contribute woodsy flavours among a frame of fine tannins that support dried cranberry and fig notes. A wonderfully refined and sophisticated rendition of a cool-climate Niagara Cabernet. 92 points
