This is a co-fermented Pinot Noir (73%) and Chardonnay (27%) from the innovative Monolith Series at Flat Rock. Ethereal and silky, with gentle tannins. It flaunts notes of cranberry jelly, plum, and strawberry licorice with a tightened core of black tea overlayed by an exuberant acidity. This blend comes off playful, but its terroir-driven minerality and structure are a serious result of the Twenty Mile Bench. 94 points
