This bottle is the 11th release of JCR from the Rosehall Run Vineyard, an estate wine that has become a prominent beacon for Pinot Noir in Prince Edward County. Stainless-steel fermented, with a 16-month stint in first and second fill French oak barrels that offers a signature sweet spice to the classic cranberry, sour cherry and subtle earthy nuances on the nose and palate. Light-bodied, with nervy acidity, fine tannins and complexity amongst layers of mineral-driven moxie. Drink now or hold until 2031. 92 points
